Antarctica is the most stunning place I’ve ever visited. There’s nobody there, and everywhere you turn, there are icebergs, snow and ice-covered rocks, penguins, petrels, whales and seals, and pretty much nothing else. A couple of times, we saw petrels killing and feasting on penguins right in front of us – it’s nature at its rawest. The purity of the environment makes you feel pretty vulnerable and entirely at the mercy of Mother Nature. Here are some pics and videos of the southernmost part of the earth.
